We go on our first Great Walk, the Rakiura, and hang out with a lot of birds on Stewart Island. There's mud and trees there too!
The South South Island
Oban is the main hamlet on Stewart Island. Also, we find rainbows everywhere we go.
Great Southern Swing
A little piece of China in New Zealand. Literally.
We check out some of the larger towns on the southern end of the Southern Island. There are beers and old buildings in these places.
Another Small Town
These shops were not open for business.
We spent two nights in the small town of Timaru and saw Creed, little blue penguins and walked along the beach.
