The short answer is...nothing. We don’t plan on working while we are traveling. Not for any kind of paycheck anyway. I hope that there will be opportunities to volunteer along the way but there is nothing setup at the moment.

We will be bringing a laptop along so I would like to try to do some writing. We will also have our sketch books, watercolors, and camera along for the journey. Working on being creative is going to be a big focus of this trip.

As we move about, there might be some projects in the animation or video world that I would consider taking on. Those jobs would have to be short and really interesting for me to take them. Or maybe a big enough cash payment that I couldn’t say no. I would consider exchanging my services for goods or a class or something. It’s hard to predict how or when something like that would come up. It’s one of the things about traveling that I really enjoy, not knowing what opportunities lie ahead.
